Learnings and Reflections
A vision for a Justpeace.
In this session, Mony expands on our theme from last week and takes a look at what does it mean to have a Just World
What is your vision of a just world?
What does it mean to have lives transformed? What does the kingdom of God on earth look?
It’s often easy for churches to talk about things like discipleship, God’s will and reaching out to communities. Last month I talked about advocacy as an invitation into something bigger, a vision for loving communities. What does that look like?
AMA response: Seeing beyond Identity and Identity politics.
Why does language matter and how do we move beyond the labels?
Chaos, Butterflies and determining development outcomes.
All of which is to say that in any intervention you do that involves real life people, you are going to notice some chaos! Which is one reason why this whole charity, justice, development and missions sectors are so complicated. Any changes made within a community has a whole multitude of effects, some great, some negative, and the challenge is to determine which factors lead to what outcomes.
Monthly Round up - October 2021
It’s time again to look at what is happening on the rest of the internet. The monthly round up aims to bring you some interesting articles to read, or podcasts to listen to, or recommendations that connect topics we have been discussing to what is popping up in our media. These links are things that I’ve enjoyed over the past month, but I’d love to see what things you have been reflecting on too!
Ask Me Anything
This session is your session, where you can ask any questions about any topic related to how we journey together to create transformative partnerships, ethical mission trips and what it means to love our neighbours well.
